M A R C U S RUSSELL LOAN F U N D (24) A report from the Comptroller on the proceeds of the sale of certain securities. Cordially yours, Lloyd Morey Comptroller O n motion of Dr. Noble, the Finance Committee was authorized to sell the Wilshire Oil C o m p a n y bonds at 90 or over, and the K e y System Transit C o m p a n y bonds at the market. AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT CLAIMS (25) A statement concerning certain claims for compensation on account of automobile accidents. N o action w a s taken on this matter. SIZE OF PORTRAITS (26) A letter from the Supervising Architect concerning the size of portraits intended to be hung in University buildings. This matter w a s referred to a special committee consisting of Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Grigsby, and Mrs. Ickes. T h e committee was requested to consider and report on the size of such portraits, the place of hanging, and other elements involved. TIME OF APRIL MEETING It was voted to hold the April meeting at the University, in Urbana, on Thursday, April 12, 1928. APPOINTMENTS MADE BY THE PRESIDENT T h e Secretary presented for record a list of appointments m a d e by the President of the University.
