MEETING O F T H E B O A R D O F TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS January 4, 1 9 2 8 The January meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at 9 o'clock a. m. on Wednesday, January 4, 1928, at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago. W h e n the Board convened, the following members were present: President Trees, Mr. Armstrong, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Grigsby, Mrs. Ickes. President Kinley was present; also Judge Sveinbjorn Johnson, Legal Counsel, and Professor J. M . White, Supervising Architect. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of December 13, 1927. O n motion of Mrs. Evans, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 507 to 516 above. 517
