MEETING O F T H E B O A R D O F TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS October 12, 1 9 2 7 T h e October meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois w a s held at 9 a. m . on Wednesday, October 12, 1927, at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago. T h e following m e m b e r s were present: President Trees, M r . Armstrong, M r . Barr, M r s . Busey, M r s . Evans, M r s . Grigsby, M r s . Ickes. President Kinley w a s present. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING, OCTOBER 6, 1927 T h e Secretary presented for record the minutes of a meeting of the Executive Committee: A meeting of the Executive Committee was held on October 6, 1927, Mr. Merle J. Trees, Chairman, and Dr. W . L. Noble being present. The Committee approved a recommendation of the Supervising Architect that the contract for greenhouse and service buildings for the Cook County Experiment Station be awarded to the Foley Greenhouse Manufacturing Company, the low bidders, on the basis of their bid of $11,600, with the understanding that one-half the contract price i to be paid during the current fiscal year, and one-half s during the nextfiscalyear.
