VACATION OF CERTAIN STREETS IN COLLEGE PLACE (16) At the meeting of the Board on September 22, 1926, (Minutes, page 124) the following resolution was adopted on recommendation of the Supervising Architect: "Be it resolved that the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois hereby agrees, and assures the City Commissioners of Champaign, that it will open a street sixty feet wide, the north line of which shall be 439.21 feet south of the center line of Armory Avenue measured on Fourth Street, and 439.25 feet south of the center line of Armory Avenue measured on First Street; P R O V I D E D that the City Commissioners of Champaign will vacate all streets in the tract known as College Place south of the north line of the proposed street between the west line of Fourth Street and the east line of First Street."
