332 BOARD OF TRUSTEES [July 14 MATTERS PRESENTED BY PRESIDENT K1NLEY The Board considered the following matters presented by the President of the University. UNIVERSITY FEES (1) The f l o i g recommendations concerning f e I the University. olwn es n INCREASE IN FEES IN THE COLLEGE OF LAW (a) A recommendation that the tuition fee in the College of Law be increased from $37.50 a semester to $50 a semester for residents of Illinois, and from £50 a semester to £75 a semester for out-of-state students; these increases to be In effect September 1, 1927. HOSPITAL LABORATORY FEES IN THE COLLEGE O F MEDICINE (b) A recommendation o the Director o the Hospital Laboratory and the f f Dean of the College of Medicine that a hospital laboratory fee of $5 for fourth year students in the College of Medicine be established to cover materials furnished by the hospital laboratory. INCREASE IN FEES IN SCHOOL OF PHARMACY (c) A recommendation o Dean Day and the Comptroller that the f l o i g f olwn changes be made in the fees in the School of Pharmacy, effective September I, 1927. Tuition fees (per semester) For residents of Illinois to be increased from $47.50 to $50. For non-residents of Illinois to be increased from $50 to #75.
