MATTERS PRESENTED BY PRESIDENT KINLEY The Board considered the following matters presented by the President of the University. SALE OF SECURITIES (1) A recommendation from the Comptroller that United States Treasury Bonds of a value of $3,000, bearing \%°fc and purchased at $99.98, for the Gregory Scholarship Fund, be sold and the proceeds re-invested in real estate mortgages and loans or Joint Stock Land Bank bonds bearing 4 . ^ % or 5 % . O n motion of M r . Trimble, this recommendation w a s approved. PLYM FOREIGN SCHOLARSHIP IN ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING (2) A recommendation that Mr. George C. Hewes, 162 Lucille Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia, be awarded thefirstPlym Foreign Scholarship in Architectural Engineering, with a stipendium of $700. O n motion of M r .
