VACATION O F HESSEL B O U L E V A R D (3) On suggestion of Professor White, I recommend that Green and Palmer be employed as attorneys for the University, to take the necessary steps to have Hessel Boulevard east of the Illinois Central tracks vacated. O n motion of M r s . Busey, this recommendation w a s concurred in. REPORT ON COLLEGE PLACE LOT (4) The Comptroller reports that the purchase of Lot 86 in College Place from Fannie B. Sherfy (Minutes, March I, 1923, page 154) has been concluded in accordance with the Minutes of December 8, 1925, page 478, and the papers have been deposited with the Secretary of the Board. This report w a s received for record. INVESTMENT OF TRUST FUNDS (5) A statement from the Comptroller that something over $6000 has accumulated in the M a y Fete fund under the administration of the department of Physical Education for women, with a recommendation that this money be invested and the income be made available for expenditure for special purposes for the benefit of women students in physical education; also that Third Liberty Bonds of a par value of $250 be sold and the proceeds combined with certain small balances aggregating £268.57 in various permanent funds, and that the total amount of £6500, more or less, be invested in bonds authorized by the Illinois statutes, the income, of course, to be applied in proportion to the several funds involved.
