1. "Goat's milk is the nearer in chemical composition to that of mother's milk." The following analyses of milks by Bosworth and Van Slyke1 show that in reality there is so little difference between goat's and cow's milk that the advantages that either has over the other in its approach to human milk is too small to be of consequence in feeding the average infant.
