Research in Athletics and Physical Education. Mr. George Huff, Head of the Department of Physical Welfare, has submitted to m e a proposal on which he asks immediate action for the establishment of research into the effects of Physical Training and athletics on the individuals who participate therein. Mr. Huff's proposal has the approval of the Board of Directors of the Athletic Association. After conference with Mr. Huff I appointed a committee consisting of Mr. Huff, Chairman, Deans Babcock, Daniels, Chadsey, and Professor White to consider and advise m e on the matter.
