BOARD OF TRUSTEES

DEGREES IN PHARMACY (14) The University Senate recommends: 1. That the degree of Graduate in Pharmacy (Ph.G.) be discontinued after the end of the year 1925-26. 2. That the degree of Pharmaceutical Chemist (Ph.C.) be awarded to graduates in the newly approved three-year curriculum. I recommend approval. O n the motion of M r . Armstrong, these recommendations were adopted. S U B - C O L L E G I A T E C O U R S E S IN M U S I C (15) The Senate recommends, on request of the faculty of the School of Music, that beginning September I, 1925, all sub-collegiate courses of instruction in applied music be dropped. O n motion of M r s . Grigsby, this recommendation w a s adopted. COST OF NEW RESIDENCE HALL (16) As you have already been informed by the Supervising Architect, the new Residence Hall will cost £70,000, more or less, in addition to the State appropriation for that purpose. He requests that the fund which has been accumulated from the operation of the old Residence Hall to the amount of $70,000 be made available for this purpose. After great hesitation, I recommend this. O n motion of M r . Trees, this appropriation was m a d e , by the following vote: A y e , M r . Armstrong, M r . Barr, M r s . Busey, M r s . Evans, M r s . Grigsby, M r . Noble, M r . Trees, M r . W h a m ; no, none; absent, M r . Blair, M r s . Ickes, M r . Small.
