The President of the Board of Trustees is authorized to delegate to the Auditor and to the Assistant Bursar in the Business Office authority to sign his name, as President of the Board of Trustees, to vouchers against the State Auditor, and to warrants on the University Treasurer for vouchers approved as above. The Secretary of the Board of Trustees is authorized to delegate to the Bursar and to the Assistant Auditor in the Business Office authority to sign his name, as Secretary of the Board of Trustees, to vouchers against the State Auditor, and to warrants on the University Treasurer for vouchers approved as above. The President and the Secretary of the Board of Trustees are authorized to delegate to the Comptroller and to the Assistant to the Comptroller authority to sign the name of the President or of the Secretary of the Board of Trustees to vouchers against the State Auditor, and to warrants on the University Treasurer in case of emergency; provided that under no circumstances shall the Comptroller or the Assistant to the Comptroller sign the names of both the President and the Secretary to the same warrant or voucher. NOTIFICATION O F PRESIDENT KINLEY The chair appointed Mrs. Ickes as special committee to notify President Kinley of his election and to escort him to the room. Dr. Kinley came and expressed his appreciation of the action of the Board in electing him President. PURCHASE OF ORGAN Mrs. Grigsby reported as follows: Your committee appointed to purchase an organ for the Recital Hall of the School of Music has investigated the situation thoroughly, has visited the manufactories of several companies, and recommends that a contract be made with the Skinner Organ Company of Boston, Massachusetts, for an organ to cost $23,300.
