MEETING O F T H E B O A R D O F TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS January 17, 1925 The January meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at 9:30 a. m. on Saturday, January 17, 1925, at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago. W h e n the Board convened, the following members were present: Mr. Armstrong, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Trees, Mr. Trimble. President Kinley was present. O n motion of M r . Trimble, Mr. Trees acted as chairman until President Noble arrived. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The Secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of December 13, 1924, and (for record) the minutes of a meeting of the Executive Committee held on December 18, 1924. The minutes were approved and received for record as printed on pages 121-142 above. 143
