The Secretary presented also for record the following list of appointments made by President Kinley:

Bagby, L. C , Assistant in Mathematics, for ten months, beginning September 1, 1922, at a salary of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) a month. (March 30, 1922).1 Bailey, H. W., Assistant in Mathematics, on one-half time for ten months, beginning September 1, 1922, at a salary of seventy dollars ($70) a month. (March 30, 1922). Blackwell, Mary L., Clerk in the Department of Chemistry, at a salary of eightyfive dollars (#85) a month, from April 1, 1922, to September 1, 1922, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. This appointment supersedes her previous one. (March 27, 1922) Blain, W. L., Assistant in Botany, on one-half time, for ten months, beginning September 1,1922, at a salary of seventy dollars ($70) a month. (March 27, 1922) Brown, W. S., Assistant in Physical Education for Men, from March 15, to June 30, 1922, at a total salary of eleven hundred dollars ($1100) for the school year. This appointment supersedes his previous one. (March 30, 1922) Cable, Erma E., Assistant in Chemistry, on one-fourth time, from March 13, 1922, to June 30, 1922, at a salary of thirty dollars ($30) a month. (March 13, 1922) Carrington, Mrs. Alice, Assistant in Mathematics, from March 27, 1922, to June 15, 1922, at a salary of one hundred forty dollars ($140) a month. (March 24, 1922) Carter, R. M., to give instruction in Education, during the Summer Session of 1922, beginning June 19 and ending August 14,1922, at a compensation of five hundred fifty dollars ($550) for the session. (March 27, 1922) Cover, Mildred M., Stenographer in the Office of the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, at a salary of one hundred ten dollars ($110) a month, for five months, beginning April 1, 1922, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. This appointment supersedes her previous one. (April 3, 1922) Ely, L. L., Instructor in Medicine, from March 20, 1922, to September 1, 1922, without salary. (March 30, 1922) Frison, T. H., Assistant in Entomology, on one-fourth time, for ten months, beginning September 1, 1922, at a salary of thirty-five dollars ($35) a month. (April 7, 1922) Goff, J. A., to give instruction in Mechanical Engineering, on part time, during the Summer Session of 1922, beginning June 19 and ending August 14, 1922, at a compensation of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) for the session. (March 27, 1922) Green, Bess R., Assistant in Zoology, for five months, beginning February 1, 1922, at a salary of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) a month. (March 22, 1922) Hafenrichter, Atlee Lawrence, Assistant in Botany, on one-half time, for ten months, beginning September 1, 1922, at a salary of sixty dollars ($66) a month. A., to give instruction in Music, during the Summer Session of 1922, beginning June 19 and ending August 14, 1922, at a compensation of five hundred dollars ($500) for the session. (March 16, 1922) Hopkins, Charles, Assistant in Mathematics, on one-half time, for ten months, beginning September 1, 1922, at a salary of sixty dollars ($60) a month. (March 24, 1922) Huber, C. M., Assistant in Mathematics, on five-eighths time, for ten months, beginning September 1, 1922, at a salary of eighty dollars ($80) a month. (March 22, 1922) Humphreys, Florence, Assistant in English, for three months, beginning April 1, 1922, at a salary of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) a month. This appointment supersedes her previous one. (March 31, 1922) Hunter, E. R., Assistant in English, on one-third time, for ten months, beginning September 1,1922, at a salary of fifty dollars ($50) a month. (March 30,1922) Jacobson, L. J., Instructor in Medicine, from March 6, 1922, to September 1, 1922, without salary. This appointment supersedes his previous appointment.
