APPOINTMENTS TO FILL VACANCIES

The Secretary presented for record the following list of appointments made by President Kinley:

Anderson, Harriett, Assistant in Psychology, on three-fifths time, for five months, beginning February 1, 1922, at a salary of eighty-four dollars ($84) a month. This appointment supersedes her previous one. (January 25, 1922)x Behrens, M. A., Assistant in Business Organization and Operation, for five month, beginning February 1, 1922, at a salary of one hundred twenty dollars ($120) a month. (January 31, 1922) Bevan, Arthur, Assistant Professor of Geology, for seven months, beginning February 1, 1922, at a salary of two hundred fifty dollars (#250) a month. This appointment supersedes his previous one. (January 10, 1922) Bryant, W. C , Student Assistant in Chemistry in the School of Pharmacy, for one semester, beginning February 6, 1922, at a compensation of fifty dollars (#50) for the period. (February 6, 1922) Burnett, Fauneil, Stenographer in the Department of Dairy Husbandry, in the College of Agriculture, at a salary of seventy-five dollars ($7$) a month, from February 1, 1922, to September 1, 1922, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (January 28, 1922) Clanton, Eula, Junior Clerk in the Catalog Department, at a salary of seventyfive dollars (#75) a month, from January 15, 1922, to September 1, 1922, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (January 31, 1922) Collins, E. N., Assistant in Anatomy, in the College of Medicine, from February 1, 1922, to June 16, 1922, at a salary of one hundred eleven dollars and eleven cents ($111.11) a month. (January 14, 1922) Cope, H. F., Assistant in Business Organization and Operation, on one-half time, for five months, beginning February 1, 1922, at a salary of sixty dollars ($60) a month. (January 31, 1922) Davis, J. B., Assistant in Chemistry, on one-half time, for five months, beginning February 1, 1922, at a salary of sixty dollars ($60) a month. This appointment supersedes his previous one. (January 25, 1922) Fleming, Rex, Student Assistant in Pharmacognosy, for one semester, beginning February 6, 1922, at a compensation of fifty dollars ($50) for the period. (February 6, 1922) Harris, Helen, Stenographer in the department of Physical Education for Women, at a salary of seventy-five dollars ($75) a month, from February 1, 1922, to September 1, 1922, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (January 26, 1922) Hathaway, S. J., Associate in Zoology, for five months, beginning February 1, 1922, at a salary of three hundred dollars ($300) a month. (January 27, 1922) Hibben, J. H., Assistant in Chemistry, on one-half time, for five months, beginning February 1, 1922, at a salary of sixty dollars ($60) a month. This appointment supersedes his previous one. (January 25, 1922) Justin, Florence, Assistant in Home Economics, for five months, beginning February 1, 1922, at a salary of two hundred dollars ($200) a month. (February 6, 1922) Karlin, Isaac, Rea Scholar in the College of Medicine, for the year 1921-22, with a stipendium of sixty dollars ($60). (January 18, 1922) Knapp, Elizabeth, Special Lecturer in Children's Literature, in the Library School, for three weeks, beginning about April 1, 1922, at a salary of sixty dollars (#60) a week. (January 31, 1922)
