" B y admitting more students than we have accomodations for with our present plant and equipment and in carrying out an increased program for new classes, we raise a larger issue than that of putting up temporary quarters for a greater number of students. "The President told us that the sum asked the Assembly is the smallest that would adequately run the University and keep the standard where it should be provided the normal increase of students occurs and the program for old and new classes is carried out. And no money was asked for housing or for buildings for social meeting places, essentials for character making and for the students social development.
