At this point, at 12:30 p.m., a recess was taken. AFTERNOON SESSION, APRIL IS, 1921 When the Board convened after the recess, the same persons were present as during the morning session, and, for a part of the afternoon, Mr. John Holabird.

CAMPUS PLAN COMMISSION

Mrs. Blake presented the following report of the Campus Plan Commission.

The campus plan commission held a meeting at the University, April 5, 9:30 a. m. Present: Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Blake, Dean Richards, Professor Blair, Professor White and Mr. John Holabird. Mr. Holabird showed plans and elevations of a two-story and a one-story horticultural building, also many preliminary studies. Professor White reported that the Department of Horticulture had come to the conclusion that three/ of the laboratories should be on the first floor for efficient service which would necessarily make the four laboratories one story. Professor Blair gave more detailed explanation stating that afger study he had come to the one-story solution for the laboratories and the two-story refrigerating plant.
