ENROLLMENT OF ENLISTED MEN WITHOUT FEE (13) A request for approval of his action in permitting enlisted men in the U. S. Army stationed at the University to register as special students without fee.

On motion of Mrs. Evans, this action was approved.

LEGISLATIVE CAMPAIGN (14) A report of progress on the legislative Campaign and of the steps taken to secure publicity.

This report was received for record.

PLANS FOR HORTICULTURE GROUP

Professor J. C. Blair and Mr. John Holabird and Mr. Long, of the firm of Holabird and Roche, made statements concerning the plans for the Horticulture Group. The Consulting Architects were requested to submit plans and sketches of a two-story structure for this group.

APPOINTMENTS TO FILL VACANCIES

The Secretary presented for record the following list of appointments made by President Kinley:

Appelle, G. C , Instructor in Physiology, in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, from February 7, 1921, to June, 15, 1921, at a salary of seventy-five dollars $75) a month. (February 28, 1921)1 Arnold, C. N., Instructor in Mechanical Engineering, from February 23, 1921, to June 30, 1921, at a salary of one hundred sixty-five dollars ($165) a month. (February 16, 1921) Bell, Mary E., Assistant in Chemistry, on one-half time, for five months, beginning February 1, 1921, at a salary of .sixty dollars ($60) a month. This appointment supersedes her previous appointment. (February 21, 1921) Bender, H. A., Assistant in Mathematics, on part-time, for five months, beginning February 1,1921, at a salary of forty-eight dollars ($48) a month. This appointment supersedes his previous appointment. (February 21, 1921) . t Brough, G. A., Graduate Assistant in Physiology and Physiological Chemistry, to give eight hours service a week, for sixteen weeks, beginning February 7, 1921. at a compensation of fifty cents ($.50) an hour. (March 2, 1921) Brown, Charlotte F., Scholar in Chemistry, from February 1, 1921, to June 30, 1921, with a stipendium of thirty dollars ($30) a month. (February 21, 1921) Browning, I. R., Graduate Assistant in Operative Surgery, to give four hours, service a week, for sixteen weeks, beginning February 7, 1921, at a compensation, of fifty cents ($.50) an hour. (March 2, 1921) Cantwell, R. C , Graduate Assistant in Operative Surgery, to give four hours service a week, for sixteen weeks, beginning February 7, 1921, at a compensation of fifty cents ($.50) an hour. (March 2, 1921) Colyer, R. G., Student Assistant in Physiology and Physiological Chemistry, to give six hours service a week, for sixteen weeks, beginning February 7, 1921a at a compensation of fifty cents ($.50) an hour.
