On motion of Mrs. Busey, recommendation 1 was approved, and it was voted that in the opinion of the Board the Annual Register should be published in the same form as before, but that the President of the University might authorize the publication in February of a limited number of advance copies without the list of names if in his judgment that seemed necessary.

COMMISSION O N T H E COLLEGE OF LAW The following statement: I have asked the following gentlemen to serve on a commission to advise me with reference to the appointment of a dean of the College of Law, and also on the whole ma ter of the course of study and possible reorganization of the work of that college: Acting Dean O. A. Harker, Chairman Professor Frederick Green Professor John N. Pomeroy Judge Clyde E. Stone, Peoria Walter C. Lindley, Esq., Danville Hon. Silas H. Strawn, Chicago Bruce A. Campbell, Esq., East St. Louis Barry Gilbert, Esq., Chicago I recommend that the sum of $300.00 be appropriated from the Reserve and Incidental Fund to cover traveling expenses of members of this Commission and other expenses incidental to its work. (4)

This recommendation was approved, by the following vote: Aye, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Carr, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Herbert, Mr. Hoit: no, none; absent, Mr. Abbott, Mr. Blair, Mr. Lowden, Mr. Trimble, Mr. Ward.

A P P R O P R I A T I O N FOR A D D I T I O N A L F R E S H M E N IN M E D I C I N E (5) A recommendation that $650 be appropriated from the Reserve and Incidental Fund to provide for additional student assistants and additional lockers in the Chemistry laboratory of the College of Medicine, caused by the fact that 112 freshmen were admitted, while accomodations for only 100 were provided.

On motion of Mr. Hoit, this recommendation was approved, by the following vote: Aye, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Carr, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Herbert, Mr. Hoit; no, none; absent, Mr. Abbott, Mr. Blair, Mr. Lowden, Mr. Trimble, Mr. Ward.

VOCATIONAL T R A I N I N G B U D G E T (6) A recommendation that the following budget for our sub-collegiate work in vocational training in agriculture, which we are providing for disabled soldiers who are sent to us by the Federal Board for Vocational Education, for 1920-21, be approved. INCOME Estimated fees of students under terms of special contract (See Minutes, pages 4-6, July 26,1920.) .$3600 EXPENDITURES W. G. Butler, Supervisor and Instructor in Agriculture—12 months beginning February 1, 1920 $2100 G. L.
