The Secretary presented for record the following list of appointments made by Acting President Kinley:

Adler, H. M., Professor of Criminology and Head of the Department of Social Hygiene, Criminology, and Medical Jurisprudence in the College of Medicine, for one year, beginning September 1, 1919, without salary. (*August 20, 1919.) Allen, L., Assistant in Romance Languages, for ten months, beginning September 1, 1919, at a salary of fourteen hundred idollars ($1,400) for the period. (August 20,1919) Alley, W. E., Mechanician on one-half time in the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory and one-half time in the University Power Plant, from September 1, 1919> to August 31, 1920, at a salary of eighteen hundred dollars ($1,800) for the period. This appointment superseding his previous appointment (September 24, 1919). Alseth, Hilda J., Librarian in the Engineering Library, at a salary of twelve hundred dollars ($1,200) a year, beginning September 1, 1919. This appointment superseding her previous appointment. (September 22> 1919). Baker, J. A , Graduate Assistant in Chemistry, for ten months, beginning September 1, 1919, at a salary of three hundred fifty dollars ($350) for the period. (September 5, 1919). Barto, Margaret, Instructor in Physical Education for Women, for the ten months beginning September 1, 1919, at a salary of eleven hundred dollars ($1,100) for the period. (September 15, 1919). Bauer, E. E., Assistant in Highway Engineering in the department of Civil Engineering, for nine months, beginning October 1, 1919, at a salary of one hundred thirty-three and one-third dollars ($133.33) a month. (September 30, 1919). Bauer, R. S.? Instructor in Business Law in the department of Business Organization and Operation in the College of Commerce and Business Administration, for ten months, beginning September 1, 1919, at a salary of two thousand dollars ($2^000) for the period, (August 19, 1919). Beggs, C. N , Mailing Clerk in the Engineering Experiment Station, from September 22, 1919, to June 15, 1920, on one-half time, at a salary of thirty dollars ($30) a month. (September 22, 1919). Bolduc, Mary, Nurse in the Dispensary in the College of Medicine, at a salary of one thousand twenty dollars ($1,020) a year, beginning September 1, 1919 and
