(39) A request from the Champaign Chamber of Commerce for a statement of the intention of the University concerning the purchase of certain land in Champaign, with an offer to purchase and to hold for the University such land as the Trustees should declare to be necessary to provide for the growth of the campus.

Action on this matter was deferred. The Executive Committee adjourned.
