Professor White explained these projects in detail and also made a statement concerning the location and plans for the artillery barns, placing these barns a little to the east of the original location west of the Stock Pavilion. On motion of Mr. Abbott, these plans and the new location were approved.

MCKINLEY HOSPITAL

Professor White presented also the plans and working drawings for the McKinley Hospital. The action of June 1,1918 (page 747), instructing the Supervising Architect to proceed as rapidly as possible with the construction of this hospital, was reaffirmed.

CONSULTING ARCHITECTS

On motion of Mr. Ward, the Executive Committee was authorized to retain the firm of Holabard and Roche as consulting architects until further notice.

APPROPRIATION FOR LIBRARY RECONSIDERED

On motion of Mr. Abbott, the action of June 21, 1919, appropriating |166,100 for the beginning of a new library building was reconsidered, and the project was laid on the table.

APPROPRIATIONS FOR BUILDINGS

On motion of Mr. Abbott, the sum of 1100,000 was appropriated for a Horticulture building, $100,000 toward the completion of the Music building, and $1,200 for extension and alteration of the Ceramics Kiln House. The vote was as follows: Ayes, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Blake, Mr. Carr, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Trimble, Mr. Ward; noes, none; absent, Mr. Blair, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Herbert, Mr. Lowden.

COMMITTEE ON PUBLICITY

At this point, the consideration of matters submitted by the Acting President of the University was suspended and the Board considered the following report of the special committee on publicity presented by Mr. Trimble.
