MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS August 15, 1919 A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel in Chicago, at 12 o'clock noon on Friday, August 15,1919, imrsuant to the following notice which was sent out by the Secretary on August 7, 1919. On the call of the President, Mr. Robert F. Carr, there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at the Blackstone Hotel in Chicago, at 12 o'clock noon on Friday, August 15, 1919, to consider matters submitted by the President of the University and the Committees of the Board, and such other matters as may be duly submitted. When the Board convened, the following members were present: Mr. Abbott, Mr. Blake, Mr. Carr, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Trimble, Mr. Ward. Acting President Kinley was present; also, Professor J. M. White, Supervising Architect. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented for approval the minutes of the meeting of July 12, 1919. On motion of Mr. Hoit, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 439 to 500 above. MATTERS SUBMITTED BY ACTING PRESIDENT KINLEY The Board considered the following matters submitted by the Acting President of the University. 501
