APPOINTMENTS MADE BY T H E PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY

The Secretary presented for record the following list of appointments made by President James:

Adams, Lucile W., Lecturer in Home Economics, at a salary of one hundred dollars ($100) for the third quarter. (April 22, 1919.)* Alesen, L. A., Student Assistant in Pharmacology, Materia Medica, and Therapeutics in the College of Medicine, to give one hundred fifty hours' service, at a compensation of fifty cents an hour, beginning February 3, 1919. (March 5, 1919). Anderson, Harriet, Assistant in Psychology, for three months on part-time beginning April 1, 1919, at a salarv of thirty dollars ($30) a month. (April 14,1919). Andrews, J. H., Bookkeeper in die Business Office, at a salary of eighty-three and one-third dollars ($83.33) a month, beginning May 1, 1919, and continuing until further notice; subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (April 16,1919). Aylward, J. T., Graduate Assistant in Physiology and Physiological Chemistry, in the College of Medicine, to give six hours' service a week for sixteen weeks, at a compensation of fifty cents an hour, beginning February 3, 1919. (March 5, 1919). Bagott, Alta, Telephone Clerk in the Registrar's Office, at a salary of sixty dollars ($60) a month, beginning April 14, 1919, and continuing until further notice; subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (April 28, 1919). fBaker, H. G., Instructor in Military Science and Tactics 2b, for the quarter beginning April 1,1919, at a compensation of fifty dollars ($50) for the quarter. (May 2, 1919). Baldwin, L. S., Instructor in General Engineering Drawing, at a salary of one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125) a month, from April 1, 1919, to June 30, 1919. (April 14, 1919). Barret, C. W., Professor of Gynecology and Clinical Gynecology and Head of the Division of Gynecology in the College of Medicine, from April 2, 1919, to October 1, 1919, without salary. (April 18, 1919). Becker, H. C , Lecturer in Hygiene in the department of Hygiene and Medical Jurisprudence in the College of Medicine, for the second semester, beginning February 3,1919, at a salary of one hundred sixty dollars ($160) for the period. (April 14,1919). Bernstorf, W. F., Assistant in Obstetrics, in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in the College of Medicine, from April 7,1919, to October 1,1919, without salary.
