Groot, J. T., Assistant in Physiology in the College of Medicine, at a salary of seventy-five dollars ($75) a month, beginning July 1, 1918, and ending October 1, 1918. (August 10, 1918). Guild, Mrs. T. H., Office Assistant to the Chairman of the Committee on the War Issues Course and the War Committee, at a salary of seventy-five dollars ($75) a month, beginning September 27, 1918, and continuing until further notice, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (September 26, 1918). Harkins, W. D., Lecturer in Chemistry, for nine months, beginning October 1, 1918, at a salary of fourteen hundred dollars ($1400) for the period. (September 28, 1918). Harwood, Hazel M., Acting Dean of Women for the summer session at a remuneration of one hundred dollars ($100) for the Session. (August 10, 1918). Hatfield, Margaret, Laboratory Assistant in Food and Nutrition in the Department of Home Economics, for nine months, on one-half time, beginning September 14, 1918, at a salary of forty dollars ($40) a month. (August 1, 1918). Hill, D. S., Professor of Education, for one year, beginning September 1, 1918, at a salary of three thousand dollars ($3000) for the year. (August 7, 1918). Hinds, Helene L., Assistant in English for ten months beginning September 1, 1918, at a salary of eleven hundred dollars ($1100) for the period. (September 17, 1918). Houchens, Josie B., Lecturer in the Library School and Binding Librarian, at a salary of fifteen hundred dollars ($1500) a year, beginning September 1,1918, and continuing until further notice, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission; this appointment superseding her previous appointment. (August 7, 1918). Humphreys, Florence M., Assistant in English, for ten months, on part time, beginning September 1, 1918, at a salary of six hundred dollars ($600) for the year. (August 26, 1918). Ingalls, H. B., Cashier in the Business Office, for one year, beginning September 1, 1918, at a salary of thirteen hundred dollars ($1300) for the year, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (August 16, 1918). Johanning, Nora, Typist in the Catalog Department of the Library, at a salary of fifty-five dollars ($55) a month, beginning September 1, 1918, and continuing until further notice, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (September 16, 1918). Jones, W. B., Instructor in Farm Mechanics in the Department of Agronomy, at a salary of one hundred forty-five dollars ($145) a month, for six months, beginning October 1, 1918, or as soon thereafter as he reports for duty.
