The Secretary presented for record the following list of appointments made by President James:

Appling, J. W., Clerk in the Order Department of the Library, on one-third time, for one year, beginning September 1,1918, at a salary of twenty dollars ($20) a month. (August 29, 1918*). Arnold, Rossleene, Assistant in Chemistry, for ten months, beginning September 1, 1918, at a salary of twelve hundred dollars ($1200) for the period. (September 17,1918). Baechtold, Elsie L,, Librarian in the Engineering Library, at a salary of fourteen hundred dollars ($1400) a year, beginning September 1, 1918, and continuing until further notice, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (August 26, 1918). Bamesberger, Velda C , Assistant in Bureau of Educational Research, for one year, beginning September 1, 1918, at a salary of twelve hundred dollars ($1200) for the year. (August 7, 1918*). Beard, J. H., Health Officer, for one year, beginning September 1, 1918, at a salary of three thousand dollars ($3000) for the year. (September 30, 1918). R., Instructor in Therapeutics in the College of Dentistry, for one year, beginning October 1, 1918, at a salary of eighteen hundred dollars ($1800) for the year. (July 26, 1918). Boelio, L. M., Assistant in Anatomy in the College of Medicine, from September 1, 1918, to September 1, 1919, at a salary of one hundred ten dollars ($110) a month. (August 10, 1918). Bond, Lyda, Instructor in Home Economics, in charge of the Lunch Room, for one year, beginning September 1, 1918, at a salary of twelve hundred dollars ($1200) for the year. (September 13, 1918). Boner, Enid E., Clerk in the Department of Architecture, at a salary of six hundred dollars ($600) a year, beginning September 1, 1918, and continuing until further notice, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission.
