The Secretary presented also for record the following list of appointments made by the President of the University:

Arnold, Rossleene M., Assistant in Chemistry, from April 1, to June 30, 1918, at a salary of fifty dollars ($50) a m o n t h ; this appointment superseding her previous appointment. (April 11, 1918*). Atwood, C , Assistant State Leader in Smith-Lever work, at a salary of twenty-one hundred dollars ($2100) a year, beginning April 1, 1918, and continuing until August 31, 1918. (April 13, 1918). Bard, Catherine A., Stenographer in the office of the President, at a salary of ninety dollars ($90) a month, beginning May 1, 1918, and continuing until further notice, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. This appointment supersedes her previous appointment. ( M a y 13, 1918). fBayley, P . L., Instructor in Signalling in the United States School of Military Aeronautics, at a salary of one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125) a month, beginning April 1, 1918, and continuing until further notice; this appointment superseding his previous appointment. (March 16, 1918). fBonDurant, W . H., Instructor in the United States School of Military Aeronautics, at a salary of one hundred dollars ($100) a month, beginning
