1918] UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS MINUTES APPROVED 721 The Secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of February 16, 1918. On motion of Mrs. Evans, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 639 to 709, above. MR. W. L. ABBOTT ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD The Secretary took the chair and called for nominations for the office of President of the Board. Mr. Carr nominated Mr. Abbott. Mr. Abbott nominated Mr. Carr. Mr. Carr requested that his name be withdrawn. On motion of Mr. Hoit, the nominations were closed and the Secretary cast the unanimous vote of the meeting for Mr. Abbott, and declared him elected President of the Board for one year. MR. H. E. CUNNINGHAM ELECTED SECRETARY OF T H E BOARD On motion of Mr. Carr, Mr.r H. E. Cunningha,m was elected Secretary of the Board for one year. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE ELECTED Mrs. Evans nominated Mr. Hoit and Mr. Carr to serve with the President of the Board (as Chairman) as members, of the Executive Committee for one year. On motion of Mrs. Evans, tbfc nominations were closed and the Secretary cast the ballot of the Board for Mr. Hoit and Mr. Carr, and they were declared elected.
