MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES -OF THE- UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS February 16, 1918 A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at Hotel LaSalle, in Chicago, at 12 o'clock noon on Saturday, February 16, 1918, pursuant to the following notice which was sent out by the Secretary on February 9, 1918: On the call of the President, Mr. W. L. Abbott, there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at Hotel La Salle, in Chicago, at 12 o'clock noon on Saturday, February 16, 1918, to consider such matters as the Committees of the Board and the President of the University may submit, and such other matters as may be duly presented. When the Board convened, the following members were present: President Abbott, Mr. Blair, Mrs, Busey, Mr. Carr, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Taggart, Mr. Trimble, Miss Watson. President James was present. MINUTES APPRQVEQ The Secretary presented the minutes of the meetings of November 9, 1917, and December 11, 1917. On motion of Mr. Carr, the minutes were'approved as printed on pages 603 to 637, above.
