CROCKERLAND EXPEDITION—APPOINTMENT OF MR. W. E. EKBLAW

(3) A letter from Henry Fairfield Osborn, President of the American Museum of Natural History of New York, concerning the Crockerland Expedition. Subject to the approval of the Board, I have appointed Mr. W. E. Ekblaw to be Staff Fellow in the University at the salary of $1800 a year, beginning November 1, 1917, on Graduate School funds. On the recommendation of the Dean of the Graduate School, Dr. David Kinley, I have appointed a committee of supervision, consisting of Professors W. S. Bayley, Henry B, Ward, and William Trelease, under whom Mr. Ekblaw will carry on his research work in close connection with the Arctic collection which the University will receive under our arrangement with the American Museum of Natural History. It is ithe opinion of Professor Bayley that we shall receive in the shape of collections full value for the money appropriated for the Crockerland Expedition.

On motion of Miss Watson, this action was approved.
