APPOINTMENTS MADE BY PRESIDENT JAMES The Secretary presented for record the following list of appointments made by the President of the University:

Anderson, R. E., Technician in Gross Anatomy, beginning July I, 1917, and continuing until October 1, 1917, at a salary of sixty dollars ($60) a month. (July 13, 1917*). Bahe, Dorothy, Student Assistant in Physical Training for Women, in the Summer Session of 1917, at a remuneration of fifty-six and one-fourth dollars ($56.25) for the period from July 1 to the end of the session. (July 7, 1917). Boswell, H. C., Assistant Mechanician in the shop laboratories, at a salary of fifty-five dollars ($55) a month, beginning April 9, 1917, and continuing until further notice, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission; this appointment superseding his previous appointment. (April 10, 1917). Bracewell, R, H., Assistant in Education, on part time, in the Summer Session of 1917, at a remuneration of one hundred dollars ($100) from June 25 to the end of the session. (July 2, 1917). Cook, W. E., Technician in Bacteriology in the College of Medicine, from June 14, 1917, to October 1, 1917, at a salary of fifty dollars ($50) a month. (June 29, 1917). Cooper, A. R., Instructor in Zoology in the department of anatomy in the College of Medicine,1 for the academic year beginning September 1, 1917, at a salary of fifteen hundred dollars ($1500) a year. (July 9, 1917). Deem, W . C , Tool-room Attendant in the machine shop, at a salary of fifty dollars ($50) a month, beginning May 22, 1917, and continuing until further notice, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (May 23, 1917). Eycleshymer, A. C , Senior Dean of the College of Medicine, beginning July 1, 1917, and continuing until further notice. (July 7, 1917). Griffith, C. R., Assistant in Education, on part time, for the Summer Session of 1917, at a salary of one hundred dollars ($IOQ) for the session. (July 11, 1917). Hiskey, G. N., Druggist and Chief Clerk in the Dispensary of the College of Medicine, beginning June 30, 1917, and continuing until further notice, at a salary of sixty dollars ($60) a month. (June 30, 1917). Holley, C. E., Associate in Education in the Summer Session of 1917, at a salary of two hundred fifty dollars $(250) for the session. ( July 11, 1917). Lincoln, C. W., Instructor in the School of Military Aeronautics, at a salary of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) a month, beginning September 1, 1917, and continuing until further notice. (July 11, 1917).
