James Martin Johnston'—Withdrew April 23, at which time he was doing successful work in the following courses: Economics 2, Chemistry 9c, Chemistry 14b, Chemistry 92b, Zoology 5, Zoology 6. DEAR MR. PRESIDENT:

The University Senate, at its meeting of June 4, 1917, voted to recommend to the Board of Trustees that the following requirement be adopted for admission to the College of L a w : * "For admission to the three-year course as a regular student, an applicant must be matriculated and have 60 hours' credit in a college of this University; or have completed two full years as given at another college or university of recognized standing as a matriculated student in such college or university; or have received by transfer 60 hours of university credit here.
