MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS

June 25, 1917

A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 12 o'clock noon on Monday, June 25, 1917, pursuant to the following notice which was sent out by the Secretary on June 19, 1917:

On the call of the President, Mr. W. L. Abbott, there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 12 o'clock noon, on Monday, June 25, 1917, to consider such matters as the committees of the Board and the President of the University may submit, and such other matters as may be duly presented.

When the Board convened, the following members were present: President Abbott, Mr. Blair, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Carr, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Taggart, Mr. Ward, Miss Watson. President James was present; and also, during part of the afternoon, Professor James M. White, Supervising Architect.

MINUTES APPROVED

The Secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of June 7, 1917. On motion of Mr. Carr, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 329 to 347, above, TRANSFER OF TREASURER'S FUNDS Mr. Ward presented for the Finance Committee a report from Arthur Young & Company, Certified Public Accountants, concerning the amount of money to be transferred by Mr. H. S. Capron, formerly Treasurer, to Mr. E. D. Hulbert, now Treasurer. (See page 329.)
