EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING, APRIL 4, 1917 A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, on Wednesday, April 4, 1917, following the adjournment of the meeting of the Board on the same day. Mr. W. L. Abbott, Chairman, and Mr. O. W. Hoit, a member of the Committee, and Mr. R. R. Ward, a member of the Board, were present. President James was present.

FURNITURE FOR WOMEN'S RESIDENCE HALL

On motion of Mr. Hoit, the President of the University was authorized to appoint a special committee, consisting of Professor White, chairman, Miss Watson, and Dean Gates, to make recommendations to the Board concerning the purchase of furniture for the Women's Residence Hall. The Executive Committee adjourned.
