I t w a s voted to a u t h o r i z e t h e completion of t h e t o p s t o r y of t h e W o m a n ' s Building, in a c c o r d a n c e w i t h p l a n s to be a g r e e d upon b y t h e P r e s i d e n t of t h e U n i v e r s i t y a n d t h e S u p e r v i s i n g Architect, a n d to be s u b m i t t e d to t h e C o m m i t t e e on B u i l d i n g s a n d G r o u n d s for a p p r o v a l . T h i s m a t t e r w a s r e f e r r e d to t h i s comm i t t e e on April 10, w i t h p o w e r to a c t ( R e p o r t , 1912, p . 5 8 1 ) . To the Committee on Buildings and Grounds: I enclose h e r e w i t h c o r r e s p o n d e n c e r e l a t i n g to fire inspection of t h e U n i v e r s i t y premises by t h e S t a t e F i r e M a r s h a l on J a n u a r y 18 a n d 19, 1912. T h r e e inspectors visited u s a n d looked t h r o u g h t h e buildings, s p e n d i n g a b o u t t e n h o u r s . No r e p o r t h a s been made, of t h e i r findings.
