The secretary presented for record the following report of appointments made by the President of the University to fill vacancies in positions created by the Board of Trustees: Buckler, Helen I., Stenographer in the Business Office, beginning April 1, 1913, and continuing until further notice, or until August 31, 1913, a t a salary of fifty dollars ($50) a month. (April 12, 1913.*) Durfey, Franc, Stenographer in the School of Commerce, beginning April 2, 1913, and continuing until August 31, 1913, at a salary of fifty dollars ($50) a month. (April 15, 1913.) Fieg, Robert I., Laboratory Helper in the Department of Botany for the months of July and August, 1913, at a salary of fifty dollars ($50) a month. (March 8, 1913.) Grigg, Daniel R., Custodian in the Law Library, from March 1, 1913, to June 15, 1913, at a salary of fifteen dollars ($15) a month. (March 6, 1913.) Prucha, Martin J., Assistant Professor of Dairy Bacteriology in the College of Agriculture and Assistant Chief in Dairy Bacteriology in the Agricultural Experiment Station, for a term of three years, work and salary to begin as soon as he reports for service, a t a salary of twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500) per annum. (April 7, 1913.) Trelease, William, Professor of Botany, and until further notice Acting Head of the Department of Botany, beginning September 1, 1913, a t a salary of five thousand dollars ($5,000) per annum. (April 8, 1913.) APPOINTMENTS TO SCHOLARSHIPS AND FELLOWSHIPS.
