Meeting of November 10, 1911.

A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held in the trustees' room, at the University, in Urbana, on Friday, Nov. 10, 1911, at 1:30 p. m., pursuant to the following notice which was sent out by the secretary on Nov. 2, 1911: Upon the call of the president, Mr. W. L. Abbott, there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois in the trustees* room, at the University, in Urbana, on Friday, Nov. 10, 1911, at 1:30-p. m., to consider such matters as the committees of the board and the president of the University may submit and such other business as may be duly presented. ( J The following members of the board were present: Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Grout, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Moore. Vice President Burrill was, present. There being no quorum present, the board adjourned.

Meeting of the Executive Committee November 10, 1911.

A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held in the trustees' room, at the University, in Urbana, immediately following the adjournment of thespecial meeting of Nov. 10, 1911. There were present: Messrs. Abbott, Grout and Hatch, members#of the committee, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Hoit and Mr. Moore, members of theboard, and Vice President Burrill.

APPOINTMENTS TO F I L L VACANCIES.

The secretary presented the following report of appointments madeby the president of the University to fill vacancies provided for in the budget which was passed on July 8, 1911, and vacancies caused by resignation and declination: Andrews, Peach H.,. student assistant in the Woman's Gymnasium, from Nov. 1, 1911,'to June 30, 1912, at a salary of twenty dollars ($20.00) per month, vice Mary Buchele, resigned.
