144. UNIVERSITY OF I L L I N O I S . [June 4 I N MEMORY OF MR. HAUGAN. On motion of Mr. Hatch, it was ordered that a committee,, with Mr. Abbott as chairman, be appointed to prepare resolutions with regard to Mr. Haugan, the deceased treasurer. ELECTION OF TREASURER. On motion of Dr. Davison,, it was voted to postpone the election of treasurer. Mrs. Alexander moved that her protest be taken from the table and considered. Mr. Abbott asked Mr. Grout to take the chair and then moved that the board go into Committee of the Whole for consideration of the protest, and motion prevailed. When the committee arose, and the board resumed its session, no report was made by the committee.. The board adjourned. W. L. ABBOTT, W* L. PILLSBURY, President. Secretary.
