Your Committee on Buildings a n d Grounds r e c o m m e n d s t h a t of t h e $250,000a p p r o p r i a t e d b y t h e General Assembly for t h e Physics B u i l d i n g , $40,000 b e reserved for t h e f u r n i t u r e , f u r n i s h i n g s , special w i r i n g a n d p l u m b i n g , architects' fees a n d s u p e r i n t e n d e n c e , a n d i n c i d e n t a l expenses; t h a t t h e remaining^ $210,000 b e assigned for t h e g e n e r a l c o n t r a c t i n c l u d i n g h e a t i n g , l i g h t i n g a n d plumbing. T h e Committee recommended t h a t from t h e $40,000 above m e n t i o n e d t h e s u m of $500 be placed a t t h e disposal of t h e Supervising A r c h i t e c t to be u s e d a t his discretion for i n c i d e n t a l expenses in connection w i t h t h e p l a n n i n g a n d erection of t h i s b u i l d i n g . STUDENT'S FEES.

The secretary presented the registrar's report of fees due from the students of the University at Urbana for the semester ending January 29, 1908. Also of the fees due from students of "the Academy for the same semester. These reports were referred to the Finance Committee.

TREASURER'S REPORT..

The secretary presented the treasurer's report, for the quarter ending December 31, 1907, which was referred to the Finance Committee.
