signed from the special legislative appropriation for the support of the chemical laboratory and the eight thousand dollars estimated as the income from the laboratory fees. The appropriation for salaries will show a balance of about this amount, owing to our inability to make recommendations of candidates for certain positions.

Voted on motion of Mr. Lehman that said appropriation be made.WOMAN'S HALL.

On the recommendation of the Committee on Students' Welfare and on the motion of Mrs. Alexander, one thousand dollars was appropriated for Woman's Hall, to be expended under the supervision of the Committee on Students' Welfare.

STUDENTS' FEES AND KEPOETS OF T H E M .

Mr. Pillsbury presented two matters with regard to the registrar's office, especially concerning students' fees and reports of the same to the board. He was directed to take up these matters with the Committee on Finance in order that a report might be made to the board at its next meeting. The board adjourned.
