Meeting of September 10, 1907.

The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the University in Urbana, September 10, 1907. When the board met the following members were present: Messrs. Davison, Hatch, Lehman, and McLean and Mrs. Alexander, Mrs. Evans, and Mrs. Busey; absent, Governor Deneen, and Messrs. Abbott, Blair, and Madden. President James was present. President Abbott being absent the board was called to order by Mr. McLean, who was elected president pro tern. The Secretary presented the minutes of the special meeting of June 4, 1907; of the regular meeting of June 10, 1907; of the meeting of the Executive Committee of June 28, 1907; of the special meeting of July 6, 1907; of the adjourned session of the same held July 12, 1907'; of the special meeting of July 20, 1907; and the special meeting of August 21, 1907. These minutes were approved as presented, except that it was ordered that the yea and nay vote taken on the proposition to condemn the Bronson block (see page 172) should be entered of record as follows: Yeas, Messrs. Abbott, Lehman, and Madden and Mrs. Evans. Xays, Messrs. Hatch and McLean and Mrs. Busey.
