Meeting of June 10, 1907.

The regular quarterly meeting of the board of trustees of the University of Illinois was held -at the University beginning at 9:00 o'clock a. m., Monday, J u n e 10, 1907. The members present were Messrs. Abbott, Davison, Hatch, Lehman and McLean and Mrs. Evans and Mrs. Busey; absent, Grovernor Deneen and Messrs. Blair and Madden and Mrs. Alexander. President James was present. The secretary presented the minutes of the regular meeting of March 12, 1907,.and the special meetings of March 19,1907, and April 25, 1907. TREASURER'S BOND.

To the Board of Trustees: Your Finance Committee presents the bond of the treasurer, Mr. Helge A. Haugan, and recommends its acceptance and that it be filed with the secretary. The committee has thoroughly examined into the responsibility of the treasurer and his sureties and has found the bond satisfactory.

ALEXANDER MCLEAN, GEORGE BL MADDEN, LEWIS L. LEHMAN,

Committee on Finance. The report of the committee was adopted and the bond approved. pal, and George E. Rickords, William A. Peterson, Hauman G. Haugan, Theodore Freeman, and John R. Lindgren, as sureties, are held and firmly bound unto the University of Illinois, of Urbaria, in the County of Champaign, State of Illinois, in the sum of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) good and lawful money of the United States, for the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves and our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly, severally and firmly by these presents. WITNESS our hands and seals this twenty-third day of April, A. D. 1907. The condition of this obligation is such that whereas the above bounden Helge A. Haugan was on the twelfth day of March, A. D., 1907, duly elected to the office of treasurer of the University of Illinois, for a period ending on the tenth day of March, A. D., 1909, or until his successor shall be appointed and qualified, and is about to assume the duties of said office: Now, if the said Helge A. Haugan shall well and truly perform and faithfully discharge the duties of treasurer of said University of Illinois during his term of office, and shall faithfully keep and truly account for all moneys, bonds, securities or other property coming into his hands as such treasurer during his term of office, and at the expiration of his term of office shall pay
