URBANAj I L L I N O I S . , M a r c h 11, 1907. Chemistry in the department of Animal Husbandry. That the Laboratory should have charge of the chemical work naturally arising in the Animal Husbandry department and such other 'investigations as it may seem wise for the department to undertake. That Dr. H. S. Grindley be appointed chemist of this Laboratory dating from September first next, with a salary of $2,750 the first year and $3,000 thereafter; and that his official title be Chief in Animal Chemistry in the Agricultural Experiment Station and Professor of Animal Chemistry in the College of Agriculture. That there also be created in this Laboratory the following positions: (1) Assistant .Chief of Physiological Chemistry in the Experimental Station and Assistant Professor of Physiological Chemistry in the College, to be filled by the same person at a salary of $2,000: (2) A Bacteriologist in the College of Science to be paid from the funds of the Experiment Station at a salary of $1,200 to $1,800 a year; (3) First Analyst in the Experiment Station at a salary of $1,200.
