I t was voted that the rules governing the use of the W o m a n s ' building be referred to the President and Council for revision, the Committee on Students' Welfare being requested to make suggestions to the Council.

C H A N G E S AND R E P A I R S .

T h e Committee on Buildings and Grounds made the following report, which was adopted: To the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois: The Committee on Buildings and Grounds recommends appropriations for work as follows:

The building of a partition to form a corridor in room No. 410, University Hall Partition in Wood Shop and board walk in basement of same building In the Engineering building, the construction of a fire proof store r o o m . . . . Partition to form an office for the Professor of Civil Engineering Fixing up basement of Law building Cement walks $150 250 240 75 275 200 00 00 00 00 00 00

The committee also recommended that the following unpaid bills for the State Entomological building be paid:

B. H. Green, connecting green house heating. Champaign Gas and Electric Lighting Company, for lighting service S. E. Huff, shelving in basement Total $36 31 33 45 11 39 $81 15

The Committee also recommends that Prof. J. M. White be allowed 3 1-3 per cent of the cost of the State Entomological Building for preparing the plans and specifications, and superintending the construction of the building. The Committee also recommends that 3 per cent be allowed to J. W. Case and C. R. Clark for plans, specifications, and superintendence of the Farm Mechanics Building. The Committee also recommends that Professor J. M. White-be paid a fee of $1,000.00 for his work in superintending the erection of buildings on the campus during the summers of 1904-5-6, the cost of this work being about $200,000.
