MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT.

Professor Breckenridge, of the Mechanical Engineering Department, presented plans for a new foundry; for changes in the metal shops to occupy the room left vacant by the removal of the foundry, and for a steam laboratory. The plans were approved by the Board. Professor Breckenridge and Professor White were given authority to carry them out, under the supervision of the Committee on Buildings and Grounds. The Board adjourned.
