At 11:45 p. m. the Board adjourned t o meet in the University P a r l o r a t 8 o'clock a. m., Wednesday.

SESSION OF WEDNESDAY.

The Board met p u r s u a n t to adjournment, the same members being present except Mr. R a a b . The Board appointed Mr. Shawhan and Professor Burrill a committee t o report upon the condition and needs of the prep a r a t o r y school. The Faculty were directed t o nominate t o the Trustees suitable persons for a p p o i n t m e n t t o the four fellowships which have been establishment. On motion of Mr. Funk, the following named persons were appointed instructors and a s s i s t a n t s in the University a t salaries named, all except Messrs. P a r k e r a n d Anderson, who were appointed for one year, for the ten m o n t h s beginning Sept. 1, 1892:
