The Business Agent's askings for appropriations follows:

On motion of Mr. Cobb, these several a m o u n t s were assigned from current funds. The Regent's bill of $20.94 for traA^eling expenses was ordered paid. The m a t t e r of the new b a r n was then t a k e n up and, on motion of Mr. Cobb, it was voted t o a d d $1,000 t o the s t a t e appropriation of $2,500, and t h a t the building of the b a r n within this limit be p u t in charge of t h e Regent, Professor Morrow, and the Committee on Buildings and Grounds. On motion of Mr. R a a b , $1,000 was appropriated for g e t t i n g a water supply a t the n o r t h barn by laying a 4-inch main connected with the city water works, and the m a t t e r was p u t in charge of the same committee as the new barn. On motion of Mr. Graham, Professors Burrill and Forbes, t h e Regent, and Messrs, Bullard and Morgan were appointed a committee t o consider and m a t u r e plans for the new building a n d it was ordered t h a t so soon as t h e plans were ready t h e President should call a meeting of the Board t o pass upon them. On motion of Mr. R a a b , t h e following a p p r o p r i a t i o n s were m a d e for purposes named from t h e s t a t e a p p r o p r i a t i o n for buildings and grounds:

On motion of Mr. Morgan, the question of p u t t i n g in new front doors t o University Hall, as proposed by t h e President, was referred t o the committee on plans of new building. On motion of Mr. Cobb, f 162.50 was assigned from t h e library fund t o be used in binding. On motion of Mr. Cobb, f 75 was appropriated from t h e s t a t e a p p r o p r i a t i o n for cabinets t o be used, as asked by Professor Burrill, in obtaining assistance upon the herbarium. On motion of Mr. R a a b , t h e farm report was approved for record. The request of the S t a t e Horticultural Society, as presented by Mr. H. M. Dunlap, was g r a n t e d on motion 6i Mr. Cobb.
