1889, to t h e amount of $545.88, t h e books to be delivered free of cost for freight, etc., at Champaign. A t t h e same time t h e Executive Committee ordered t h a t the Regent be authorized "to purchase t h e necessary books not included in t h e above list, at t h e best terms possible, and to report t h e same to t h e Board." Pursuant to these orders of t h e Trustees and t h e Executive Committee, the Library Committee and t h e Regent present t h e accompanying statement of their expenditures on this account:
