Calculate Your Carbon footprint

W-121 Turner Hall As the conservation of natural resources becomes more important for financial and environmental reasons, it is useful to gain an understanding of your own impact. Get a glimpse by calculating your carbon footprint.

Student Sustainability Committee

South Hallway, Turner Hall The Student Sustainability Committee is a group of 10 elected students and 10 faculty. The committee is in charge of allocating the student green fee, $7 per student. We use the money collected to support sustainable projects on campus, such as lighting retrofits and the Sustainable Student Farm. Come see all of the projects we have supported and how you, too, can be involved!

Champaign Community garden

South Hallway, Turner Hall A group of seven students is starting a community garden in north Champaign. The most impoverished part of Champaign is just to the north of campus and we are using our resources to try and make it better. Community gardens are a great way to bring a community together and educate them about healthy eating and how to grow their own food.
