CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES

General meetings are held in the Illini Union Building on the third Thursday of the month from September through April. Two other interestgroups, Recent Graduates and the Professional Groups, plan meetings to fit their particular needs but combine with the general group from time to time. In addition there are several study groups. Information concerning membership may be secured from Miss Mary Yearsley, Membership Chairman. Telephone 6-2437. Champaign County Audubon Club Vivarium Building Wright and Healey Streets, Champaign S. Charles Kendeigh, President An organization which is composed of about fifty persons from the University campus, the Twin Cities, and -surrounding villages. The Audubon Club meets the first Thursday evening of each month at a private home for lectures, discussions, and pictures of birds. Frequent field trips to look for birds are scheduled. The Club sponsors a series of five illustrated lectures open to the public and held in the University Auditorium, ilew members are welcome. Dues are <$1.00 per person or $1,50 per family.

Champaign-Urbana Camera Club F. W. Steffen, Jr., President The Camera Club has a membership of about sixty men andflomenof the faculty and the community who are interested in photography. Meetings are held the second and fourth ^e^needay evenings of each month in the Club studio. This studio is located above the palace Meat Market and east of the Champaign City Building. The regular meetings are varied and instructive 77ith discussions of black and white and color photography and movies. Print nifzhtrj are held once at which time members bring their j-ecent prints for judging and competition. Plans are being made to organize several groups within the Club so that a member may follow his individual interest in some special phase of photography9 The Club also has plans a number of social activities for the members and their families.
