for 1933, the first scholarship granted from the Alumni Endowment F U J was then presented and spoke for a few minutes. Miss Krieg gave a S minutes talk on the placement situation and presented various statistic which were of interest. Miss Phelps spoke of the various changes in tJ Library School curriculum. Miss Boyd gave a graphic account of A! dinner which had been given to Mr. Windsor on the occasion of his 25th anniversary as librarian and director of the School. Mr. Cleaving spoke of the loyalty and affection of the alumni for Mr. Windsor an(j moved that the Association appoint a committee to confer with the Uni. versity authorities with regard to naming the Library the Windsor L brary. Mr. Windsor hastened to protest because he said there was a University rule of long standing which forbade the naming of any building after a living person and he was very much alive. Mr. Cleavinger protested that he wished the Association to go on record as desiring such an action and the motion was passed. Mr. Trotier was then presented as the new Head of the Catalog Department of the University and he spoke | for a few minutes on his appreciation of the cordiality he had experienced since his appointment. Mr. Windsor devoted most of his talk to expressing his appreciation of the anniversary dinner and of the beautifully bound book of letters | which was presented to him on that occasion. He had the book with hira and an opportunity was given for its examination. The Nominating Committee then presented the following slate which | was unanimously elected: Harriet E. Howe, President; Arthur Smith 1st Vice-President; Floy Carroll, 2nd Vice-President; Josie B. Houchens, Secretary-Treasurer; Louise B. Krause, Trustee for the Endowment Fund, 1934. | A telegram of greeting was sent to Miss Simpson expressing the regret of the Association that she could not be present. j Miss Howe was then presented as the new President and she re-| sponded with a very cordial invitation to attend the next reunion which would be held at Denver. |
